Whose Kitten? · 한국어 · Account & data deletion
If you sign in, we store it with your account. If you don't, it stays on your device.
| Item | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account identifier | The unique identifier issued by the sign-in provider when you sign in with a Google account (Google Play Games) | So we can find your save again on a different device |
| Game progress | Your bells and gems, the cats and case records in your shelter, the day you are on | So you can continue after reinstalling or switching devices |
| Purchase history | What you bought and when, the gems granted, and the purchase token issued by the store (used to verify the receipt) | To confirm a purchase really happened, to make sure you don't lose what you paid for, and to check against your question if you write to us |
| Device information | App version, OS version, device type, device language | To find bugs and see which devices they happen on |
We never ask for your name, phone number, address or date of birth. An email address is used only to reply to a question you send us. The game does not access your photo library, contacts, location or microphone. Photos made by the album feature are captures of the game screen, kept in the app's own folder on your device — they are never uploaded.
The game never signs you in on its own. When you tap [Settings] → [Save to my account] inside the game, we tell you what is stored, for what purpose and for how long, and sign you in only after you consent. If you never tap that button, no sign-in and no server storage happens.
You can play without consenting — everything then stays on your device, so it does not follow you to another device and gems do not carry over. (One-off purchases such as ad removal are restored from the same Google Play account even without signing in.) Signing out stops server storage; what is on your device stays.
For children under 14, account storage is switched on only after a legal guardian consents. A minor's purchase requires a guardian's consent, and a purchase made without it can be cancelled on request.
If you play without signing in, all of the above is stored on your
device only (save.json). In that case deleting the app deletes your progress.
The game shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob. They play only when you press the button — there are no pop-up interstitial ads.
To serve ads, Google may process device information (advertising identifier, IP address, device type, approximate region). See policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
This game is rated for everyone and is configured on the assumption that children may play it. The Google Mobile Ads SDK is therefore requested with:
tag_for_child_directed_treatment)tag_for_under_age_of_consent)GUnder these settings no personalised ads are served and no advertising identifier is used for tracking. That is also why no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown on iOS — there is no tracking to ask about.
In the EEA and the UK, consent is handled through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). With the "under the age of consent" flag set, no consent form is shown and only non-personalised ads are served.
To see where players get stuck and which features are used, the game records in-game events (screen entered, case solved or failed, ad watched, and similar) through Google Analytics for Firebase. App version, device type, device language and an app instance identifier are recorded with them. No information that identifies you personally is included.
Payment itself is handled by the store (Google Play · Apple App Store). This game never sees or stores payment instrument details, including card numbers.
We do receive the purchase token the store issues. We use it to ask the store whether the purchase is genuine before granting gems, and we record what was bought and when against your account. That record is what lets your purchases follow you to a new device, and what prevents double grants and fraudulent purchases.

This game is rated for everyone and children may play it. We do not separately collect personal information such as a name or contact details from children, and we ask children for nothing beyond what section 1 describes. Deletion for a child's data can be requested through the same channel as section 7.
